A few picture from my fight...

My fight was almost 3 months ago, and i'm just now getting the pictures from my friend Kirtley, who came and watched it.
I started at the gym at the end of february. I started going every single night (which accounts for my 2.8 G.P.A. :/) and before long I fit the mold of the young, cocky college kid that thinks natural athleticism will account for enough to go 3 rounds with a guy 78 lbs heavier, who has had a personal trainer and has been training for more then a year longer then I have...
Needless to say I got a few good punches in (8 to his 28), and I ended up on my back with the ref standing over me asking what day it was. He told me later I said "thursday dude, i'm fine let me up." My fight was on a saturday. :)

Top 5 Favorite Things...

This Thing took me...

From San Diego...

To Oceanside.

The time right now is 7:35 PM, Tuesday July 1, 2008. I’ve never been one to write in journals, and my blog hasn’t been updated for about 9 months. But, this feeling I get while riding the COASTER in Southern California, from San Diego’s Santa Fe Station to the Oceanside Transit Center, is probably the closest to complete peace that I’ve ever felt. And, I feel I need to capture my thoughts concerning it. This train, in places, is literally 10 feet from the edge of a vertical cliff with the ocean crashing below, and the next second it is winding through a canyon completely engrossed by foliage.

I recently took the LSAT, the second biggest test of my life and which dictates whether I take the First biggest test or not and haven’t yet received my score. I’m over $100,000 in debt. I’m working 35 hours a week, and going to school which is the equivalent to a 40 hour job itself. Which amounts to a 75 hour work week. My daily routine consists of leaving the house at 8:30 AM, and not getting back home until 8:30 PM at the earliest. My life is hectic and its hard trying to keep up, but on this Coaster, before writing this, I realized that I didn’t think about one of those things. All of those stressors, it seems don’t even matter. Maybe it’s the random turns around corners and seeing the sun setting. Maybe it’s the perfect temperature of the train. Maybe it’s the current playlist on my ipod. I don’t know. But, the feeling you get from this coaster, at this time of day is indescribable in words. As you can probably tell considering this post didn’t make any sense. But, take my word for it. This hour ride up the coast is by far worth the 6 dollars.
